We understand that you are seeking employment, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. Firstly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ or even hint at approaching God in His name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
There is salvation in none other, "for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). Let us first pray for your faith in Jesus Christ.
Dear Lord, we pray for this individual, that they may come to know you personally through faith if they don't. We ask that you reveal yourself to them and that they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they understand that it is only through Jesus that we can approach you, God. In Jesus' name. We believe that God wants to prosper us, but we also know that His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He will provide for you according to His will.
In all things, we must trust Him and submit to His will. As it says in
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 16:3 WEB "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, And your plans shall succeed."
While we wait for His provision, we should also be actively seeking employment, using the gifts and talents He has given us, and being good stewards of the resources He has provided. As it says in
Colossians 3:23 WEB "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"
Psalms 90:17 "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands."
We pray that God will open the right doors for you and guide you to the job that He has prepared for you. We pray that you will be patient, trusting, and obedient, and that you will use this time to grow closer to Him and to seek His will for your life. We also pray for your faith if you do not know Jesus Christ, that you will come to know Him and that you will accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
Dear Lord, we lift up this individual to you, asking that you provide for their needs according to your will. We pray that you will guide them to the job that you have prepared for them, and that they will be patient, trusting, and obedient as they wait for your provision. We pray that they will be a good steward of the gifts and talents that you have given them, and that you will establish the work of their hands. We pray that they will be wise and godly in the workplace, being a light for you and a witness to others. Help them to be grateful, honest, hard working, not using social media or their phone during times they are being paid to work, getting along with all coworkers, and to refuse to ever steal from their employer. Help them to always do their best and refuse to do anything that would allow them to be promoted wrongly. Help them to do their best in the interview process and to be able to give a good report of what they did at their last job. We pray that they will not try to get a job dishonestly or trick the interviewer. We pray that you will give them an opportunity to be a blessing in their desired field. We ask these things in Jesus' name. We ask that you bless them with a godly spouse, help them to pursue godly marriages that honors you, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen!
We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in the Word, seeking God's will for your life and trusting in His provision. We also encourage you to be actively seeking employment, using the gifts and talents He has given you, and being a good steward of the resources He has provided. Remember that God is faithful, and He will provide for you according to His will.
