We understand that you're seeking healing for a variety of skin conditions and blemishes. First, let's you and I pray together. We encourage you to seek the Lord's will and trust in His timing and methods, not command God to do anything. While we pray for your healing, we also want to guide you toward a biblical understanding of prayer, healing, and accept whatever God decides for you.
Jesus Christ himself prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, "not my will, but yours, be done." We know that God hears our prayers, and that we can approach Him with confidence, as His children. But we must also understand that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Our prayers and petitions are good in God's sight, but we should avoid trying to force His hand or objectify Him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this child of your's to You, seeking Your will and Your healing touch. Lord, you know the desires and petitions, and we ask that You hear these requests for physical healing and comfort. Show your glory and mercy to Your child.
Help us to remember that our bodily struggles can be used for Your glory and for the spiritual growth and benefit of your people. We trust in You and Your purposes, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Forgive us when we try to command You or forget to seek Your will, trust and obey. Cleanse us of these sins, as we ask for forgiveness in Jesus' name. Help Your child to turn away from any sin and to walk more closely with You.
If it is Your will, Father, please bring healing and restoration. Give Your child grace, wisdom, and guidance from Your Word and Your Holy Spirit.
And help us to remember that You, Lord, look not on the outward appearance, but on the heart. Help us to love You more than the things of this world, and to be conformed to the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Give this child of Yours hope in You. Even if You decide not to heal Your child, give strength and perseverance.
Help Your child to know that You are always near, always listening, and always loving. Give strength and comfort in Your Word. Bless the reading of Your Word.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking Him and drawing near to Him, that He may draw near to you. Remember that God's Word is living and active, and that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding.
All the best, and we leave you with this encouragement from God's Word:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
