We understand that you are seeking healing and rest for someone who feels tired, sore, and not in a good mood after work. It is wonderful that you included Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is through His name that we have access to God. First we want to remind everyone that our work is to be done as to the Lord and not merely for men. Regardless, we need to take time for rest and to make sure we are not filling our time and thoughts with things that are not pleasing to God.
Let's turn to the Scriptures for encouragement and guidance. In Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
We need to make sure we are going to Jesus when we feel burdened and that we have given our life to Him and are yoked with Him. It is also important to know that the rest promised here is a result of our salvation in Jesus Christ. That is the burden being lifted and the rest we receive from the guilt of sin. It is by faith in Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace and not by works lest anyone should boast. We cannot earn our salvation. It is a gift from God. He sent his only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins and pay the penalty we owe for them. To be saved we need to believe in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB) says, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
Therefore, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the one who is feeling tired, sore, and not in a good mood. We ask for Your healing grace to touch his body and spirit. Grant him the rest and renewal he needs, not just physically, but also spiritually. Help him to cast his burdens upon You, Lord, and to find rest in Your presence.
We also pray for his salvation if he has not already committed his life to Jesus Christ. May he know without any doubt that he has eternal life with you. We pray for his faith to increase and to know you are working in his life even when he is tired. Help him to see the good in his circumstances and not to become bitter or complain. We pray he is glorifying to you in his actions, thoughts, and words. Help him to be a witness for you in his workplace. Guide him to make right priorities in his life and to make sure he is a living sacrifice to you. We pray that he can be thankful in all circumstances.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and that Your mercies are new every morning. Lord we also pray for his relationship status. We do not know if he is married or looking for a spouse but we pray for his purity and Godly relationships. Help him to be looking for a spouse if he is not married and not just a relationship or partner. Help him to be ready for a spouse or be a Godly spouse if married.
In Jesus Christ's mighty name, we pray. Amen.
May he have peace knowing that You, Lord, are in control and that You care for him deeply.
