Let us come together in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention for the many needs presented.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ.
We lift up the people, family, and the one who submitted this request, asking God to surround them with His divine protection. As it is said in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
We pray for their salvation, healing, and a deeper seeking of the Lord's face and His kingdom. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We intercede for the church, asking God to bring healing, unity, and a spirit of revival. As it is written in Psalm 133:1 WEB, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"
We pray for ministers and messengers to be sent out into the world, proclaiming the good news. As Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19-20 WEB, "Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen."
We lift up the leaders, asking God to grant them wisdom and discernment. As it is said in James 1:5 WEB, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We pray for healing miracles for ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and other children suffering from cancer and terminal illnesses. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:14 WEB, "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'"
We pray for our brothers and sisters to seek the Lord's face and His kingdom daily, for their faith to be strengthened, and for less division in the church. As it is written in Ephesians 4:3 WEB, "being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
We intercede for addicts, asking God to save them, strengthen them, and gift them with sobriety. As it is said in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We pray for those contemplating suicide, asking God to turn them away from such plans and inclinations, and to draw them to Himself. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
We lift up our brothers and sisters with dementia, asking God to remind them of His unfailing love and for them to not forget the Lord. As it is said in Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB, "It is of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
We pray for people with memory problems and dementia who haven't been saved, asking God to send visitors to tell them the good news, to give them hearts of flesh, and for them to be saved. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26 WEB, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
We lift up the one who submitted this request, asking God to help them as they are under spiritual attack. As it is said in Ephesians 6:11 WEB, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
We pray for their friends to come to Christ, for their sister in Christ to be healed, and for her faith to be strengthened. As it is written in James 5:15 WEB, "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We intercede for strong marriages, asking God to help husbands love their wives as Christ loves the Church. As it is said in Ephesians 5:25 WEB, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
We pray for the Lord to reveal Himself to unbelievers, the disabled, and members of false belief systems. As it is written in Romans 1:20 WEB, "For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse."
We lift up laborers, asking God to send them out to speak to these people and for receptive hearts. As Jesus said in Matthew 9:38 WEB, "Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest."
We pray for the one who submitted this request and their wife, asking God to grant her strength, discernment, and patience to help others and raise their children in a godly manner. As it is written in Proverbs 31:26 WEB, "She opens her mouth with wisdom. Kind instruction is on her tongue."
We intercede for the people they are discussing scripture and theology with, asking God to draw them to Himself. As it is said in John 6:44 WEB, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."
Lastly, we lift up the undisclosed person dealing with family and addiction issues, asking God to bring deliverance and salvation. As it is written in Romans 8:39 WEB, "nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these many needs and seeking Your will and intervention. We lift up the sick, the struggling, and the lost. We pray for strong marriages, wisdom, and discernment. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
