This is a X (Twitter) post from one of our brothers in Christ. Please pray for him and his family. In Jesus' name. "My ### year old son is ### weeks out from his kidney transplant. I want to invite my brothers and sisters in Christ to pray. I truly believe in the efficacy of prayer so I’ll share some specific requests. 1. Pray for his bladder. I know that sounds strange, but this is the #1 concern at the moment. His bladder hasn’t been connected to his kidney since he was ### months old. And it is currently too small. This has the potential of damaging his new kidney, and it could result in him having to live with nephrostomy bags. In summary, please pray that his bladder expands after the transplant. 2. Please pray that his body accepts the new kidney. 3. Please pray for the surgery itself. Both for my sister-in-law who is donating her kidney, and for my boy. 4. Please pray for my wife and I. Pray that we would hold fast to Christ through this trying season & that we would be filled with that sweet peace that passes understanding. 5. Please pray that God would (continue) to provide for our financial needs. God has been so generous with us through his people. We know it would be pure foolishness to worry about this as God has been so faithful to provide thus far. I am praying that God would provide, not just enough for this transplant, but also for his second and third transplants. Many do not know this, but kidney transplants have a shelf life. He will likely need several more throughout his life. My goal is to raise enough so that he never has to worry about the financial side of his medical problems. Thank you all so much for your prayers."

Let us come together in prayer and support for our brother in Christ, his beloved son, and their entire family during this challenging time. We stand in agreement, believing in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we lift up the precious son of our brother, asking God to miraculously expand his bladder post-transplant. As the Lord said in Mark 11:24 WEB, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." We believe that God can make his bladder function perfectly, preventing any damage to the new kidney and eliminating the need for nephrostomy bags.

We also pray for the successful acceptance of the new kidney into his body. May God, in accordance with Psalm 139:14 WEB, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well," guide the doctors' hands and bring healing.

Let us cover both the donor, our brother's sister-in-law, and his son during the surgery. As stated in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose," we trust that God will oversee the procedure and grant a swift recovery.

For our brother and his wife, we pray that God grants them unwavering faith, strength, and endurance during this trial. May they be filled with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7 WEB, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Lastly, we lift up their financial needs, knowing that God is Jehovah Jireh, our provider. As it is written in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus," we trust that He will continue to provide abundantly for this family. We have confidence that the Lord will do more than they could ever think or ask for, including provisions for future transplants.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, asking for healing, guidance, and provision for this family. Touch the hearts of Your people to support them during this journey. May the name of Jesus be lifted up and glorified throughout this ordeal. Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage our brother to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. As a group, we stand with them, believing that God will work all things out for their good and His glory.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up our brother in Christ, his son, and their entire family in prayer. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand in agreement with them and to intercede on their behalf.

As the days have passed since the original post, we want to encourage our brother to share an update on his son's condition and the upcoming surgery. If the Lord has answered your prayers and the concerns regarding your son's bladder have been resolved, or if there has been any other progress, we would love to hear a praise report. Let us rejoice together in the Lord's goodness and faithfulness.

If the request has not yet been answered, or if new challenges have arisen, we urge you to share those updates as well. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you. We want to persist in asking the Lord for his bladder expansion, for the successful acceptance of the new kidney, for the surgery itself, for your family's peace and strength, and for the Lord's provision for all the financial needs related to this and future transplants.
