Persecuted Christians - India

The persecution of Christians is rising at an alarming rate. A radical nationalist agenda has created an environment of discrimination and violence against Christians and other religious minorities. Pray that those who oppose the growth of Christianity will encounter Jesus through the witness of His church, and turn to Him.

Because many of those who are coming to faith are poor, converts from impoverished areas are often accused of illegally being paid to become Christians. Pray for those who have been falsely accused of paying people to become Christians - that their names will be cleared.
