We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed with anxiety and a lack of peace. First, we want to remind you that God cares about your feelings and wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (WEB 1 Peter 5:7)
We notice that your prayer does not mention Jesus by name. It's important to remember that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. As Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Regarding your feelings, we want to encourage you with God's promise: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (WEB Philippians 4:6-7)
We also want to address the fact that you didn't specify the relationship with the person you mentioned. We also lift up their spouse and family to You, Lord. We pray for healing, good health, and strong, godly relationships. We ask that You would guide them and help them to seek Your will in all areas of their life.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage, that it would be a lifelong commitment that honors and glorifies You. We ask that You would help them to pursue relationships that align with Your principles, and that You would give them wisdom and discernment in all their interactions.
Finally, Lord, we pray that they would come to know You better and better, trusting in Your love and faithfulness. We ask that You would help them to grow in their relationship with You, and that they would find true joy and fulfillment in You alone.
