We stand with you in prayer, Epakolexia, as you seek to overcome temptations and fulfill your calling in Jesus' name. We appreciate that you acknowledged the name of Jesus in your request, as it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the temptations that have been surrounding you and for your desire to be free from drugs and alcohol. God promises us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Epakolexia. Lord, we ask that You strengthen them through Your Holy Spirit, enabling them to overcome all temptations. Lord, help them to fix their eyes on You, knowing that You are the author and perfecter of their faith. We ask for complete removal of all drugs and alcohol from their life and that only wholesome things occupy their thoughts and life.
Father, we also pray for your protection upon Epakolexia and all Your people in this messed-up world. We ask that You guide them itself according to Your will. Also Father, we pray for the ones that have gone to Satan, that You have your Holy Spirit convict them, so they also come to You to confess and receive salvation. Help us to be lights in this dark world, shining brightly for Your glory.
We claim Your promise, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says the WEB, 'plans for peace, and not for calamity, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
We are here to encourage you and remind you that God is the one for provision and blessings. We are so thankful for your heart's desire to focus on God and His calling. God knows what is best for you and for everyone. It is important to have a clean life living to do what God would have you to do while you are praying for others and their struggles. Continue steadfastly in prayer and in the study of God's Word. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11).
Stand strong in faith, and remember, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6).
