We are a new creation under Jesus. The old self has died. We are Ambassadors of His Love. So isn't it time to soar above life's negativity? Should we not be grateful instead of being down-trodden? Not easy, I know. Believe me I know, but our inner well-being depends on it. Remember that the wisemen offered Jesus gifts at His birth. What will be your gifts to Jesus?
2 Corinthians 4:8-10
8. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
9. persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
10. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
We have all been hard pressed on every side in life but not all have been able to overcome their emotional trauma. Many, I dare say have become bitter and resentful by their misfortune. It is hard to release those past incidents. It's sad because many become paralyzed with fear, not wanting to take any action, fearing future failures and disappointment. So they sit idle doing little and speaking negatively. It's a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately Inertism and non beneficial talk tends to obstruct faith.
We are seldom in control of what happens around us, but we are indeed always in control of what happens within us. Keep our hearts pure and our spirits up. Our future success depends on what action we take and what words we utter in this moment. We must try to keep our self in check through Jesus.
It is easy to be grateful when everything is going right but it takes internal strenght to be grateful when bad things are happening. We are human after all. However remember that our Internal Resource is far greater then what the world offers. Pick yourself up and shake the dust off you.
“Anybody can thank God for good things. But when you can thank God even in the bad things, your faith grows…”- Rick Warren
Praise God and move forward. If you are unable to soar like an eagle, then run like a champion. Whatever you do don't sit idle with your ill feelings and just keep moving forward with Jesus.
Let us thrive to soar above the worldly chaos. I am grateful for our Godly reconciliation.
I will be more beneficial this moment on, through Jesus my Saviour.
