One thing of concern that some pastors do is "dateset"the Rapture the Second coming etc.All of a sudden one proclaims they put some numbers together. and figured out" the time and a few even the hour!!Claiming to figure out God's plans with man's reasoning but worse yet didn't Jesus say"Concerning that day no man knows neither the angels in Heaven or the Son but o ly the Father".Also "If they say the Son. of Man is in the inner chamber do not believe it for as the lightning shines from the east to the west so shall the coming of the Son of Man be".For the pastors to state they figured out God's timing when the Bible states otherwise..uh uh.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Steven Bobb's concern regarding pastors who attempt to set dates for the Rapture and the Second Coming. We acknowledge that Your Word clearly states that no one knows the day or the hour of these events, except for You, Father . We recognize that it is not for us to presume or declare specific dates or times for these significant events.

Lord, we pray for discernment and wisdom for those who may be influenced by such teachings. Help them to rely on Your Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, rather than being swayed by human reasoning or claims of knowing Your plans. Remind them of Jesus' warning that false prophets may arise, claiming to have insider knowledge about His return .

We ask that You would protect Your people from confusion and deception, and grant them a spirit of discernment to recognize false teachings. Help them to stay rooted in the truth of Your Word and to trust in Your perfect timing for all things.

Father, we also pray for those pastors who may be tempted to set dates or times for these events. May they be convicted by Your Spirit and humbly submit to Your sovereignty. Grant them a deep understanding of the importance of adhering to Your Word and teaching it faithfully to their congregations.

In all things, may Your name be glorified, and may Your truth prevail. We trust in Your perfect timing and eagerly await the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. May we always be found watchful, prayerful, and ready for His coming.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
