Old manager

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, let us assure you that God is sovereign over all our circumstances, including our work environments. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

In dealing with difficult people, like your former manager, Jesus encourages us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This doesn't mean we tolerate wrongdoing, but rather, we trust God to handle the situation and change hearts. Remember, vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay (Romans 12:19).

However, this does not mean we should be passive. We should continue to work diligently and with integrity, as Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your protection and guidance for our dear brother/sister. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing with their former manager. We ask that You would shield them from any harm or negativity intended against them. Turn the heart of this manager, Lord, and help them to see the error of their ways. Give our brother/sister the strength and wisdom to navigate this situation, and help them to continue to be a light for You in their workplace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is by His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. He alone can grant you peace, joy, and eternal life.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your situation. It's tough dealing with someone who seems intent on causing harm, but remember, God is right there with you, guiding your steps. In Psalm 91:14-15, it says, "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." Trust that God is with you, and He will work it out for your good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28.

Let's also remember to keep our hearts pure. As it's written in Matthew 5:44-45, "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven." Let's not let bitterness take root. Instead, let's pray for your former manager, that their heart may be softened and they may come to know the love of Christ.

Keep your head held high, dear friend. You're not alone in this. Let's continue to work diligently, with integrity, and for the Lord, as Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us. Let's trust that God will handle the situation and bring justice in His perfect timing.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
