Oh, God the holy Spirit, the comforter, advocate, intercessor, counselor and strengthener and who is in close fellowship and is always active on this earth, I humbly come to you who is always active and present within my home.

I pray that my 2 week anti-inflammatory medication of Naproxen prescribed by my doctor yesterday morning will fully relieve me of all physical pain and inflammation in my knee joints, muscles and lower back. I also ask that you will continually break down and bust wide open the walls of unemployment so that the waters of opportunity will continually flow.

Many recruiters and hiring managers are desperate to find qualified staff to fill suitable roles because of skill shortages due to Brexit and Covid.

Finally, I ask that you will guide their thoughts and heart when they view my details so that they will find the courage to pick up the phone and call me to discuss suitable opportunities that they have been trying to fill according to your divine will.

I now lay my prayer at your feet and leave my destiny and final endgame in your righteous hands. Amen.

What hope in the almighty have I got if prospective employers keep insisting on me coming into the office twice a week? Is that now part of their remote working policies? Isn't coming into the office twice a month not sufficient for them? It's clear that they are not listening.

Especially when the Delta variant of Covid-19
is still active in general circulation under UK Covid Alert Level three and has not gone away.

It's like burying your head in the sand is my overall frustration with the attitude of many prospective employers.
