Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Steven Bobb's concerns regarding the recent actions of the Pope. We acknowledge that Your Word clearly states that marriage is between one man and one woman . We understand that Steven is troubled by the Pope's departure from biblical teachings and the confusion it may cause among believers.
Lord, we pray for the Pope, that You would open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and guide him back to a firm foundation in Christ. We ask that You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance if he has strayed from Your divine plan for marriage. Help him to understand the importance of upholding Your truth and not compromising for the sake of worldly acceptance.
We also pray for those who may be influenced by the Pope's actions. May Your Holy Spirit bring clarity and discernment to their hearts and minds. Protect them from being misled and grant them the wisdom to discern between truth and deception.
Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your ability to work all things for the good of those who love You . We ask that You intervene in this situation according to Your perfect will. May Your truth prevail, and may Your Church remain steadfast in its commitment to Your Word.
