Not sure if anyone will pray for me but I will ask regardless--I have been suffering with large amounts of stress due to a promotion at work. I know that my identity is not in work, nor does this promotion hinge who I am as a person however, I desire it for my family and feel as if it will validate my body of work encompassing close to 2 decades. I find my struggle in dealing with it on a daily basis--it consumes my thought life, my dreams and actions. Is it bad that I ask for prayer for the promotion? I need peace over it....
