We are truly sorry to hear about the health news you've received and the trials you're facing. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we won’t fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).
In times of overwhelm, God encourages us to Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is overwhelmed by health news, financial trials, and the storms of life. We ask, Lord, that You grant them Your supernatural peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to fix their eyes on You and to remember that you are better to them than any earthly blessing. Lord when You are our portion there is nothing on earth that can touch the joy, peace, and comfort you give. Remind them of Your continuous presence and Your promise to never leave nor forsake them. Comfort them in the midst of the storm. Calm their hearts and mind, and help them to trust in Your unfailing Word and in Your love.
Lord we ask that you provide for their financial needs as You promise that you will supply all their needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Give them wisdom in handling the health situation and guide them and the doctors to the right decisions. Bring healing, comfort, and strength to their body. Give them the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome any difficulty the world might throw at them and give them the words to say when they go before mountainous situations in their life. In the midst of these trials that they are facing may they be able to say as Job, the ancient and faithful saint of God did, But he knows the way that I take. When he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold. (Job 23:10 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for their healing, provision, and peace. May they find their strength renewed as they hope in the Lord. May they keep their eyes fixed on Jesus to be delivered from this overwhelming situation. Amen!
