We understand that you're planning to take a walk in nature and you're asking God to hold back the rain, and you are praying for someone in Jesus' name. It's wonderful that you're taking this time to connect with God and pray for others.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask that You hold back the rain, Lord, as our friend takes this time to walk in nature and talk with You, fill his batteries and draw close to You. Grant him a good and pleasant time in Your presence, Lord.
We also lift up the person he mentioned in the hospital. Lord, You are the Great Physician. Please bring Your healing, comfort, and peace to them. We pray for the doctors, nurses, and all those involved in their care, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom.
As we walk with God and pray, we remember that it is only Jesus Christ that has given us the access to God. We can only be saved and approach God and His throne through the name of Jesus Christ. We have the assurance of God's Word, the Bible.
In Acts 4:12 WEB it says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
And in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
So, Lord, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You and praise You for all these things, and we know that You will hear and answer our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Enjoy your walk with God, and may you return blessed, strengthened, and filled with God's peace and joy. Continue to pray for others, and remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." Keep praying and trusting in God.
