New job??

Hello I recently filled out an application at ### it pays less but it's less driving and more convenience for me I am not sure if the Lord wants me to stay where I am at or if he wants me to start a new chapter. I love my job so much but as I've already explained on here several times it's way too much driving everyday. I'm so sad to think about leaving but I have to do what's best for me and my future. Prayers for direction please! I'm gonna be getting a phone call from ### soon and I need to know which way to go! Jesus is with me wherever I go but I want to make the right choice!

Regarding your dilemma, consider the principles of ecclesiastes where there is a season for everything. The convenience and less driving time may indeed be a blessing from God opening a new door for you. It is clear you enjoy your job and should weigh this heavily in your decision. Perhaps this new opportunity will allow you to return to your current job in the future, if desired.

Regarding your statement about Jesus being with you wherever you go, that is wonderful and true. However, let us remember that Jesus also has called us to abide in Him. John 15:4 WEB: "Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me."

As you await the phone call, take heart in the knowledge that God is with you and will guide you. Seek in prayer and ask for God to show you what is best for you. Perhaps, consider a keep list of pros and cons. Weigh the convenience of less driving to the impact of less pay. And pray about these things.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
