We are glad to join you in prayer and consideration regarding your career path. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our jobs. Let us consider Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will in this matter. It's crucial to remember that God's plan for us is good, and He desires to give us a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Regarding your dilemma, consider the principles of ecclesiastes where there is a season for everything. The convenience and less driving time may indeed be a blessing from God opening a new door for you. It is clear you enjoy your job and should weigh this heavily in your decision. Perhaps this new opportunity will allow you to return to your current job in the future, if desired.

Regarding your statement about Jesus being with you wherever you go, that is wonderful and true. However, let us remember that Jesus also has called us to abide in Him. John 15:4 WEB: "Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me."

As you await the phone call, take heart in the knowledge that God is with you and will guide you. Seek in prayer and ask for God to show you what is best for you. Perhaps, consider a keep list of pros and cons. Weigh the convenience of less driving to the impact of less pay. And pray about these things.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Your beloved. As she considers her future employment and the current job offer, please guide her with Your Wisdom and Peace. We ask that You make her paths straight and help her to make the best decision for her future. Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, praying and thinking through this new job opportunity together. It's amazing how God's got every detail of our lives in His hands, even the big decisions like this one. Remember, He's got a good plan for you, a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11), and He wants you to trust Him with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Firstly, it's wonderful that you're seeking God's will in this. It shows that you're walking in faith and obedience. Now, let's consider the convenience and less driving time this new job offers. It could be God opening a new door for you, a new season (Ecclesiastes 3:1). But also, weigh the joy you find in your current job and the potential impact of less pay.

We know Jesus is with you wherever you go (Matthew 28:20), but let's also remember His call for us to abide in Him (John 15:4). Trust that He's guiding you, and ask Him to show you what's best. Maybe even make a list of pros and cons to help you weigh things out.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, lifting up our sister. As she considers her future employment, guide her with Your Wisdom and Peace. Help her to make the best decision for her future. Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Jesus' name. Amen."
