Thank you for bringing your heartfelt requests before the Lord. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for you and your family.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this beloved parent and their children. We thank You for the gift of another day and for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask that You guard and heal them, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Father, we ask that You free them from all anxieties, casting all their cares upon You, because You care for them. We pray that You grant them favor in all their endeavors, and that You grow them spiritually, drawing them closer to You each day.
Lord, we also bring before You the request of their son for a day off. We ask that You work in this situation, granting favor and rest, as You see fit. We pray that You guide him in his decisions and help him to trust in Your timing and provision.
Father, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, who came to seek and to save the lost. We pray that if anyone here does not know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Him today.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
We also encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things, and to grow in your spiritual walk with Him. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by Jesus Christ that we can be saved. If you have not already, consider the words of Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 WEB)
