We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, but we are here to intercede and pray with you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our provider and He cares for us. It is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?
Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
In this passage, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our basic needs, but to seek God's kingdom first. However, this does not mean we should not be proactive.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need. They are facing a challenging situation, with the threat of losing their home and financial strain. We ask, Father, that You guide them through this trial. Provide them with the wisdom to make the right decisions, and the resources they need to secure a new home. We rebuke homelessness and poverty out of their lives.
May You help them to find a new place for them and their family. We ask for Your provision, Father, that they may find a job or means to support themselves and their family financially. We also pray for their landlord, that You may soften their heart and show our brother/sister mercy.
We also pray for their faith, Lord, that it may be strengthened during this time. Remind them of Your promises and Your love. May they find peace in You, and may You provide all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Thank You, Father, for You are a God who sees, who knows, and who provides. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing. Be proactive in your job search and hunt for a new home, but also rest in the knowledge that God is in control. Also, reach out to local churches and Christian communities for support.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is so important to pray in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to God the Father. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said,
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your heart as your savior. Believe in His death and resurrection as the ultimate sacrifice for your sins. Then, you will be a child of God and He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you in this storm and through every storm you face in life.
