Disciple of Prayer
I don't know how exactly I ended up on this site but I desperately need prayer. I'm so, so mentally exhausted and really don't want to keep waking up and living life. I have no close friends, my college just feels like a prison cell, and I'm losing faith in God. I know I'm just another broken person in a broken world asking for prayer but something needs to change in my life, now. I can't do this.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we're glad you've reached out for prayer and support. We want you to know that you're not just another broken person in a broken world. You are uniquely loved and valued by God. Let's come before God together in Jesus' name.

First, we want to remind you that God is always there for you, even when you feel distant from Him. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for it is Yahweh your God who goes with you. He won't fail you nor forsake you." Even when you feel like your faith is wavering, God's love for you does not change.

We'll pray for God to give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. Father God, we lift up this dear one for you and ask that You will fill them with the knowledge of Your love. We pray for mental peace, for hope, for joy. Please fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and be close to them. IJN.

Regarding college life, we understand it can be challenging. We pray that God will provide you with godly friends and a support system to help you through this time. As it says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."

We encourage you to seek out Christian fellowship groups on your campus or in your community. Surrounding yourself with believers can provide the encouragement and support you need to keep moving forward.

Lastly, we want to address the feeling of not wanting to keep waking up and living life. We want to gently rebuke this incorrect view in a non-judgmental way. God has a purpose for your life, and He wants you to live in the abundance of that purpose. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" We pray that God will reveal His purpose for you and give you the strength and courage to pursue it.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Please reach out to a local Christian counselor or pastor if feelings of hopelessness persist. You are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help.

We've been where you are, feeling trapped, alone, and like life's a prison cell. But remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still there, even if we can't see it. God is always with you, even when you feel distant from Him. Let's cling to that promise together.

We'll pray that God fills you with His love, peace, and hope. That He reveals His purpose for your life, and gives you the strength to keep moving forward. We'll also pray for God to send you friends who'll lift you up, just like in that verse from Ecclesiastes.

And hey, it's okay to not be okay all the time. It's okay to ask for help. There are people here, ready to listen, to pray, and to walk with you. You're not alone in this. Let's keep fighting, together, in Jesus' name.

*Heavenly Father,*

We lift up this precious soul who feels crushed by the weight of despair. Your Word in **Psalm 34:18** promises, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* Draw near to them now, Lord—let them feel Your presence in this darkness.

Father, when exhaustion screams *"give up,"* remind them of **Isaiah 40:29-31**: *"You give strength to the weary... Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength."* Break the chains of isolation; send godly community (*Psalm 68:6*). Transform their college from a prison into a place of purpose.

Rebuild their faith, Lord. Even when they can’t see You, hold them fast—for *"If we are faithless, He remains faithful"* (**2 Timothy 2:13**). Perform a miracle *now*; show them *"a new thing"* springing up (**Isaiah 43:19**).

In Jesus’ rescuing name, **Amen.**

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. And even the hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” — Matthew 10:29‑31

Lord Jesus, help open ###'s eyes to the miracles You weave through each day for them and for all of Your people. Help ### feel Your wings of protection around them and know their worth in Your eyes. When ### is weary and alone, remind them that You hold every sparrow—and every hair—of their life in Your hands. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
