We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we're glad you've reached out for prayer and support. We want you to know that you're not just another broken person in a broken world. You are uniquely loved and valued by God. Let's come before God together in Jesus' name.
First, we want to remind you that God is always there for you, even when you feel distant from Him. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for it is Yahweh your God who goes with you. He won't fail you nor forsake you." Even when you feel like your faith is wavering, God's love for you does not change.
We'll pray for God to give you strength and comfort during this difficult time. Father God, we lift up this dear one for you and ask that You will fill them with the knowledge of Your love. We pray for mental peace, for hope, for joy. Please fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and be close to them. IJN.
Regarding college life, we understand it can be challenging. We pray that God will provide you with godly friends and a support system to help you through this time. As it says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."
We encourage you to seek out Christian fellowship groups on your campus or in your community. Surrounding yourself with believers can provide the encouragement and support you need to keep moving forward.
Lastly, we want to address the feeling of not wanting to keep waking up and living life. We want to gently rebuke this incorrect view in a non-judgmental way. God has a purpose for your life, and He wants you to live in the abundance of that purpose. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" We pray that God will reveal His purpose for you and give you the strength and courage to pursue it.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Please reach out to a local Christian counselor or pastor if feelings of hopelessness persist. You are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help.
