We join you in lifting up your broken relationship to our Father God, seeking His intervention and healing. We pray that both you and the other person involved would use kind words towards one another, even in disagreements, as Ephesians 4:29 WEB reminds us, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Father, we ask that You heal both of you from past traumas and remove the anger and stress that have built up. We pray for calm and peace to fill your hearts, and for restful sleep to renew your bodies. Cleanse your hearts and renew your spirits according to Psalm 51:10 WEB, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.
We rebuke any chains that the devil may have on you both, and we pray that you would draw closer to God, as James 4:7-8 WEB says, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
We appreciate that you ended your prayer in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
However, we must address that a relationship should be one that is honoring to God and aligning with biblical principles. If the other person involved is not a fellow believer in Christ, then we encourage you to consider a biblical path for your life. We are explicitly told 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? In a marriage it is expected both husband and wife be believers.
As you pray for this relationship, also pray for God's will to be done in both of your lives. He desires for you both to live in obedience to Him and for His will to be done in your relationship. We know that in marriage it is expected that both people be Christians. Therefore, we pray that both you and the other person grow closer to God, and that He guides you both according to His will through Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this person and their relationship to You. We ask for Your healing, Your guidance, and Your will to be done in their lives. Draw them both closer to You, Lord, and guide them according to Your purposes. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
