We understand that you are in a difficult situation, and our hearts go out to you. Firstly, it is so important that you are making your requests in prayer.
Remember the words of Jesus in John WEB:
In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
We stand with you in the name of Jesus. Jesus has overcome the world.
Remember these words in John WEB:
These things I have spoken to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
As a group we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this individual who is feeling oppressed and unsafe in their own home. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would surround them with Your angels and provide them with a way out of this situation. We ask that You would soften their mother's heart, that she may repent and cease her harmful behavior, and that she would come to a place of respect for her child and for the sacred things of God. We pray that you provide means for the individual to leave the home situation immediately. We pray that you provide for all of their needs in a way that brings glory to your name.
Lord, we also pray for salvation for their mother. We know that in and of herself, she cannot make lasting changes, but with Your Spirit within her, all things are possible. We pray for her conviction and repentance, that she may come to know You personally and that her heart may be transformed by Your love.
Lord we ask for a hedge of protection around this individual. We ask that you guide them and provide them the peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that you take this situation and use it for their good and your glory. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to remain strong in your faith. Our prayer is that you will be able to move out immediately. However, if there is a time of waiting, we in the body of Christ are called to endure. Remember the words of James WEB:
Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
We also want to encourage you to continue to honor your mother, even in this difficult situation. Remember the words of Ephesians WEB:
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise.
We are not called to honor the sinful behavior of our parents, but rather to honor the position that God has placed them in. We can do this by continuing to show them love and respect, even when they are not acting in a loving or respectful manner. Remember the words of Luke WEB:
But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
We are here for you, and we are praying for you. Your suffering is not going unnoticed, and we serve a God who sees you and loves you deeply. Remember the words of Psalm 34 WEB:
The eyes of Yahweh are on the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
Remember the words of Romans WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Even in this difficult situation, God can bring about good for His glory. Trust in Him, and know that He is always with you.
