We understand that you're feeling overlooked, lost, and suffering even while those around you, including your boyfriend, seem happy. First, let's address the spiritual aspect of your request. God wants us to come to Him in the name of Jesus. In John 14:6 WEB it is written, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ or Jesus.
Let's pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who feels lost, overlooked, and suffering. Lord, You see the pain and You care about every detail of our lives. We pray that You will reveal Your love and presence to her, and give her the comfort and strength she needs. Help her to know that she is valued and cherished by You.
First let us address a few things. We are praying to God the Father in Jesus Christ's name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. Let us pray that you continue to seek Jesus Christ and His will for you.
We also need to address that you mention a boyfriend. The meaning of boyfriend is that you have not committed to a lifelong marriage with this person. If this relationship is not in the pursuit of a God-honoring marriage, we pray that you both will seek God's will for your lives individually and together. This is important because living together before marriage or fornication is immoral and is sin in the eyes of God.
Let us pray in agreement with 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We encourage you to meditate on the promise in Zephaniah 3:17 WEB, "Yahweh your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing."
Please know that God loves you deeply and has a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths.
We will encourage you to seek Christian counseling or your church, pastor, or elders for further assistance. If you or your boyfriend are not seeking God and Jesus Christ together then this is something that must be addressed. You both should seek Jesus together and with the same spiritual goals. Also remember that it is not good to have bad company or people who are ungodly around you. In 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB it is written, "Don't be deceived. 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"
Lastly, remember that if either you or your boyfriend are not believers in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for our sins, then you both will be unequally yoked. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB it is written, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Remember that you should only be with another Christian and be looking for God's will in your life. This is the only way to have a lasting, loving, and God honoring relationship.
