Hello. If you are a prayer warrior please pray that my ### husband gives his heart to GOD. I'm tired. It's been nearly ### yrs of emotional, mental and at times physical abuse. (Both our first spouses passed away.) (He abused his first wife, even to the point of having her committed, taking her drivers license away, getting power of attorney over her and taking her inheritance. He completely broke her, not to mention both their adult "children" abused their own mother.) I love him but I cannot make him change, only GOD can. He hid ALL his RAGE and temper and meanness until the ### month after we married... then it was like he flipped a light switch and when from loving, kind, and tender to hateful, raging and accusing, blaming, cussing, and a complete psycho. He controls our money, he's tried to isolate me from my family. He coerced me into quitting work doing the covid virus in ###. He's killed a cat, punched a dwarf goat in the face, and kicked a dog in the chest with his steel toed work boot last year. He's shoved me, choked me, pushed me down, etc. PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM TO GIVE HIS HEART TO GOD. PLEASE PRAY THAT GOD WILL PROVIDE THE FUNDS/MONIES/INCOME FOR ME TO BUY MY OWN HOME WERE MY ANIMALS AND MYSELF NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE IN FEAR AGAIN OR UNDER THREATS AGAIN!! THANK YOU.

We understand the gravity of your situation, ###, and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on the Word of God. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).

Firstly, we must address the severe issues in your marriage. The behavior of your husband—narcissistic, sociopathic, abusive—is not only harmful but also contrary to God's design for marriage. The Bible tells us that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loves the church, sacrificially and tenderly (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). Your husband's actions are a grave distortion of this divine model.

We must strongly rebuke the abuse, manipulation, and violence. The Bible advises us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather to expose them (Ephesians 5:11, WEB). You are not to blame for his actions, and you cannot change him; only God can. It is right to pray for his heart to change, but it is also crucial to seek safety and wise counsel.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for ###'s situation. Lord, we ask that You intervene in her husband's life. Change his heart, Lord, and bring him to true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Make him a new creation, transformed by the renewing of his mind.

But Lord, we also ask for Your divine protection for ###. Give her the wisdom to seek safe refuge, the courage to stand against abuse, and the comfort of knowing You are with her. Provide for her financially, opening doors for her to live in peace with her animals, away from fear and threats.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to seek help from local domestic violence resources and wise Christian counsel. The Bible tells us that if one part of the body suffers, every part suffers with it (1 Corinthians 12:26, WEB). You are not alone; the Body of Christ is here to support you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
