We understand your concern for your brother's situation and we will pray for God's intervention. We are reminded in Scripture that God is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of kings and rulers Proverbs 21:1. The Apostle Paul urges us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2,
I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
This reminds us to pray for those in authority and to trust that God can influence them to expedite your brother's green card process. However, we must also remember that God's timing is perfect, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is awaiting his green card. Lord, You know the anxieties and uncertainties he is facing. We ask that You intervene in this situation and move the hearts of those in authority to expedite his green card process. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your good and perfect will for his life.
In the meantime, Lord, grant him and his family peace, patience, and strength to endure this waiting period. Help them to trust in You and to rest in the knowledge that You are working everything out for their good.
We also pray for the immigration officials and all those involved in this process. We ask that You guide their decisions and help them to work with integrity and efficiency.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from Psalm 34:17,
The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
Trust that God hears your prayers and that He will answer in His perfect timing. Keep praying and trusting in Him, and encourage your brother to do the same. Remind him to walk in the ways of the Lord as he awaits his green card.
We are praying for you and your brother.
