My prayer request is for appetite control at night. I have struggled for years with my weight. I tend to stress eat. The stress comes from concerns about my only child who is on drugs and my only grandchild who says they are gay. Then I think about all of the problems in our country with lawlessness and get overwhelmed. I really want to grow in the Lord to the point I don't let all of these things bother me so much.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus' Name, we come to you on behalf of ###. We ask that You would give her the strength to control her appetite at night, especially when she is feeling overwhelmed by the issues she is facing in her life. Help her to find peace and comfort in You and to trust You to take care of her and her family. Give her the wisdom to know how to best support her child and grandchild in their struggles. Help her to be a light in the darkness and to stand firm in her faith. We thank You for Your grace and mercy and for the hope that You bring. Amen.
