My parents divorced each other for six years. My stepmother who is actually my mother because she has been a mother to me and my siblings; she does not get along with my biological sister. My family is split because my mom caused so much pain to my middle sister who is my biological sister; my biological sister has also made things hard for my mom. My family has been through these problems for decades and we haven't been willing to learn from them. My father's name is Andrew; my mother's name is Rose. My elder sister's name is Huguette; my middle sister's name is Tischa; my "stepbrother's" name is Wilfrid; my youngest sister, Kelly, and my youngest brother's name is Regis. My dad and my middle sister are angry with me because I still have a relationship with my adoptive mother and her family members. My middle sister is also resentful towards my elder sister and my youngest sister because she allegedly believes that they weren't there for her when my mom was allegedly violent to her six years ago; my mom's sister was also violent to her. My dad claims that my aunt who was violent to my middle sister tried to poison him. My mom and my dad cheated on each other, while they were married. My mom is married to a Danish man whom she was dating, while still married to my dad; my dad cheated on her many times. My elder sister is married to a Dane; my youngest sister has a Danish boyfriend and my youngest brother is going to get married to a Danish lady. My dad thinks that we are all trying to act like Danes; he blames my mom for encouraging us to behave as the Danes do. I am not a Dane; the world to which the Danes belong has nothing to do with me. I don't understand my father at all, but I know that he is very angry and resentful towards my mom, whom he doesn't want to see, alive or dead. My dad does not get along with my elder sister, my youngest sister and my youngest brother either. We have had problems in my family for six years, which are symptoms of problems that we've had for decades - we haven't been willing to learn from them.
