Brethren, please pray that I get my own apartment. I need my own space, I’m tired of living at home. I need space to do my work and create. Too many distractions at home. I desire to be independent and experience living alone before I’m married and living with my husband & kids.

We understand your desire for independence and space to work and create. It's important to seek God's will in all things, including where you live. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

If you are seeking to live independently, please ensure you are doing so with the intention to grow in your faith, maintain purity, and ultimately prepare for a godly marriage. You mentioned that you are not yet married. We will pray that God will bring you a spouse and prepare you for marriage. Marriage is a blessed relationship and according to the Bible, it is better to marry than to burn with passion. We are also curious what is holding you back from marriage.

We pray that you will guide us to the right living situation that will be honoring to you and our families. We pray for you to give us the correct desires concerning a marriage and spouse. No, I’m not contributing financially at home, I do chores and run errands. I’m currently seeking employment and trying to figure out how to start my own business, I don’t have a steady income yet. I know I employment should be my first prayer request. I’m so desperate to leave home because I don’t like my mother’s husband (stepdad), their marriage is not a good example to look up to. My mom has always put in more effort and hard work than him. I hate seeing my mom work so hard while he does little to nothing. I can’t come between a married couple, I’m tired of being around them so I need to leave. I know I need to have a steady income first, I’m constantly applying for jobs.

Nothing is holding me back from being married. I’m a woman, it’s my husband who is to find me. In the meantime, I’m in God’s word and hearing what he has to say about marriage what type of wife He wants me to be one day.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
