We are truly heartbroken to hear about the condition of your father and the struggles your mother is facing. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for their lives, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We will also discuss and evaluate the health and spiritual needs of your parents.
Firstly, let's address the health issues your parents are facing. We know that God is able to heal all diseases, for with Him nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).
Let us remind ourselves of the healing power of Jesus, as shown in Matthew 4:23-24 WEB: "Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them." Jesus healed everyone who was bought to Him. We should also remember that Jesus did not just heal the body, but he also cast out demons.
Therefore, we will pray for soundness of mind, clear thoughts, and sharp minds for both your Father and Mother. For it is written in Second Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Regarding your mother, we will pray for the joy of the Lord to be her strength. For it is written in Nehemiah 8:10 "Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for today is holy to our Lord. Don't be grieved; for the joy of Yahweh is your strength."
We will also pray for her spiritual strength. For she has been partially overcome by depression and sadness due to the condition of your father. It is written in Second Corinthians 12:9 WEB: "He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
It should be discussed that your mother's request for healing of her husband, your father, is a good thing. For it is written in James 5:15 WEB: "and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." This means that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick.
We will also pray for your father to be healed and for your mother's faith to be strengthened. It is written in James 5:15 WEB: "and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Furthermore, we will pray for your mother to be prepared as if her husband is alive, well, energetic, strong and humorous, talking and walking and making her laugh again. This is because it is written in Second Corinthians 4:18 WEB: "while we don't look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
We will pray for her to be positive, optimistic and in a good mood as well as pray for a vision of her father completely healed. It is written in Proverbs 29:18 WEB: "Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he who keeps the law is blessed."
Let us pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifted up by the power of the Holy Spirit, interceding on behalf of our dear brother's parents. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his father, who is bed-bound and suffering from dementia, brain atrophy, encephalopathy, pneumonia, and various inflammations. We pray for complete restoration of his body, mind, and spirit. We ask in Jesus' name for Your divine intervention, that he may eat, drink, swallow, talk, and walk again.
Lord, we also lift up his mother, who is battling dementia, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, and schizophrenia. We pray for a sound, sober mind, clear thoughts, and sharp cognitive abilities. We ask for normal blood sugar levels and blood pressure. We pray for the joy of the Lord to be her strength, and for her to be filled with faith and vision of her husband completely healed.
We ask for Your wisdom and guidance for this family as well as Your divine intervention and healing power. We pray for their salvation and that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We ask this all in the mighty, powerful, and the all-saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
