My nephew, Evan (19 years old) was in a major car accident tonight. He lives in Missouri. His father called me minutes ago. They had to life-flight him to a hospital. Please pray. Good gracious. Horrible news to wake up to. Will update tomorrow. I appreciate every one of your prayers. I don’t know his standing with God.

Thank you for all your prayers. Please continue.

Evan is in a trauma unit in Missouri. He has brain swelling and a brain bleed. Broken ribs, a broken collar bone, and a gash in his head.

Now the praises--

1) He hit a pole and so much more. The car must have been spinning, skidding, and crashing into many things. The car looks like it was crunched by a giant. But the praise is that he hit the pole on the passenger side.
2) When he entered into the trauma wing at midnight, doctors saw his brain had swelled and was bleeding on the inside. They installed a pressure monitor this afternoon and his brain hasn't swelled anymore, nor has his brain continued to bleed.
3) Doctors gave him a CAT scan when he entered the hospital last night. It was in the normal range. They CAT scanned him again a few hours ago. Evan is still in the normal range.

God is working through your prayers. I can't possibly thank you enough. I'm going to become a regular prayer member on this website. Such power in it.

The hospital still has Evan under sedation so his body doesn't go nuts, but twice so far reduced the sedation to see if he would start waking up. Both times, Evan didn't. His body went through a lot. It'll take time.

The police don't know how it happened. Don't even know if another car was involved. The roads were dry.
