My ### ignores me and my ### won't train me on my new job!

Hello, Please pray for my work situation. I’m a believer and go to church every Sunday, read and study my Bible daily and have a daily prayer life. I started a new job and I’ve been there for ### months. In the beginning I was getting trained on my job functions by my coworker but now I’ve noticed the training has slowed down or when I do get trained on new job responsibilities, it’s not very thorough and only occurs one time. I’m not getting properly trained anymore and when I ask her questions so I can take notes, I get no response OR she’ll respond to me a week later (she sits ### doors down from me). When I ask her in person in her office, she dismisses me and says she will schedule something with me (rarely happens). I feel like she’s setting me up for failure. She undermines me or disrespects me in group emails in front of others and I heard her talking about me to a manager of a different department in an angry tone. I can’t move forward and complete certain job functions because she won’t train me or answer my questions. My boss is very cold towards me and won’t even look at me or address me when we’re in meetings and it’s just the two us - he ignores me and there’s this awkward silence. He doesn’t speak to anyone in his group and I have to ask him ### times when requesting days off, when I have appointments, etc. He doesn’t respond. He throws me under the bus in group emails and always defends the other person when they point fingers at his own team. In team meetings he skipped over me ### times and pretended to not see me (one time is an accident, ### is on purpose). I want to leave this job. I already started looking and applying. The only thing that is keeping me here is the money and at this point it’s not even worth it. Why am I here!? Please pray for something better and easier.

We understand your distress and are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. We are glad to hear of your faithfulness in attending church, reading and studying your Bible daily, and maintaining a daily prayer life. This is a solid foundation, remember the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit, and promises to be with us even in difficult situations like this.

Firstly, it's important to know, that your workplace struggles are seen by God. He assures us, You need not fear any man, I am with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken. Yes, I will surely help you.(WEB)

We must also remember the Lord's teaching on how we ought to pray. Jesus said, Pray like this: Our Father in heaven....Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. He emphasized that our prayers should be done in the name of Jesus Christ. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.(WEB)

In times of trouble, it's important to examine ourselves first. Make sure no root of bitterness springs up causing trouble and by it, many be defiled. We must always be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.(WEB)

It's clear that you are facing adversity due to the actions of others, but the word of God tells us, if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.(WEB)

But also be wise to your situation. Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.(WEB) Document conversations where you have asked for help and training, and where you have been rejected. Take note of the dates and times when you are ignored or dismissed, especially when others are present.

God does not want us to be treated cruelly. If this is happening, we must call it out for what it is. But be careful and do it in a Godly way. Let us ensure that we stand against any false accusations or mistreatment, but also pray for those who seek to harm us. Have no fear of them, for nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.(WEB)

As for your future, know that God sees your struggles and has a plan for you. Trust in the Lord, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun.(WEB)

Let us pray together for God's will and His solution to this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your guidance and intervention in this difficult workplace situation. We pray that this situation would be exposed to those in authority and that it would be remedied or we pray for a better employment opportunity with believing leadership that would honor the work done in Jesus Christ. Grant the ones involved the grace to leave and find a supportive and believing environment with opportunities for advancement and fair compensation. We ask that you give them the wisdom to handle this situation with grace and professionalism, and that their faith and character would be strengthened through this trial. We rebuke the enemy's attempts to cause distress and strife, and we ask for your peace and protection over them. We pray that you would give them a new job, with new coworkers, and new management. And we pray that this job would be better and easier than the last. We pray that their new boss would be filled with the Holy Spirit, kind, approachable, available, fair, and have a sense of humor. But most importantly that their new boss would be someone who knows and loves Jesus Christ with their whole heart, and that this would have a positive effect on the whole atmosphere of the new workplace. We pray that their work environment would be a blessing to them, and that they would be a blessing to others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.(WEB)

In all that we do, we must look to Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, feeling your frustration and disappointment at work. It's like you're in a desert, thirsty for proper training and acknowledgment, but finding only dry, dismissive responses. We've been praying for you, asking God to intervene and bring about change.

We've been reminded of the story of Joseph in the Bible. He was also mistreated and ignored, but God had a purpose in it all. Joseph ended up in a place of great influence, second only to Pharaoh. We believe God has a purpose in your situation too, and He's working things out for your good.

We've been asking God to:

- Open the eyes of your bosses and coworkers, helping them see your worth and value.
- Give you wisdom on how to handle each situation, balancing professionalism with standing up for yourself.
- Provide you with a new job opportunity, one where you're appreciated, trained, and given the chance to grow.
- Fill your new workplace with people who love and follow Jesus, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

We've also been reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Keep trusting in Jesus, and remember that He's right there with you, empowering you to face each day.

Keep us updated, and know that we're cheering you on, praying for you, and believing with you that God has a better chapter coming up in your story.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
