Hello,

Please pray for me. I’m new to my job, I like the money, but I don’t like my boss or what I do. My boss ignores me and I’ve been with the company for ### months and we have never had a conversation. In our weekly meetings he skipped over me ### times and pretended I wasn’t there (### times is intentional). When I need to request time off for appointments I have to ask him ### times to get an answer and he mostly ignores my emails.

He is the number one person that does not sign off on my document requests when all the other managers do - which is a bad look for our department.

The gal that I replaced in her position refuses to train me and when she does it’s not very detailed or thorough and it’s only one time. She resents me because the company made my position a Senior position when hers was just entry level so I feel she resents me because of that. I even overheard her talking about me to another manager in a harsh tone.
I hate this job! Pray that God will bless me with something easier, less toxic environment, and good work life balance. I’m not even open to taking less of pay so I can focus on my side gigs and personal life with my husband.

We understand that you're facing a challenging situation at your new job. Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not named or mentioned. It is only by His name that we have access to God. John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Let's bring your concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the Scriptures. We will also address the issues that do not align with biblical principles, and provide encouragement and advice tailored to your situation.

Our loving Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is facing difficulties at her new job. We pray that You will comfort her and guide her through this challenging time.

We see that you are unhappy with your boss's behavior and the lack of support from your coworker. It is not unreasonable to desire a positive work environment and the boss and coworker are not treating you with the respect due. 1 Peter 2:18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh

First and foremost, we must remember to be an example in our behavior as Christians. It is important to deal with frustrating people in a Christian manner. Not only is this the godly thing to do, but leads to better outcomes. We must not repay evil with evil. Romans 12:17-21 Return no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. This is a hard thing to do, but the Holy Spirit can help in this matter.

Regarding your current employment, instead of hating your job, we advise you to do your best and show your value to your God. We are they that labor

Throughout the Bible, we are encouraged to work diligently and honestly, even in difficult circumstances. Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ

For the coworker that refuses to train you, it is good to remember that we are to do more than others. Just because you are going above and beyond and doing a good job does not mean that you are doing someone else's work. It is the godly and right thing to do.

Your request for an easier job with a less toxic environment and good work-life balance is understandable. We are reminded that we are to live in this world and not be of this world. This means that we are to live in the world, but not let the world's problems and issues concern us. 1 John 2:15-16 Don't love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father's love isn't in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn't the Father's, but is the world's.

We pray that God will provide you with a job that aligns with His will for your life, and that you will find peace and contentment in His plan. We also pray that you will be a light in your current workplace, demonstrating the love of Christ to your boss and coworkers.

Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tested beyond your strength. 1 Corinthians 10:13. We pray that you will find a new job, but that you will also use your gifts and talents to glorify God and that you will be a beacon of light in the workplace.

We advise you to take this matter to the Lord in prayer, seeking His guidance and wisdom. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand that it's tough when you feel unheard and unseen at work. It's like being in a one-way conversation, isn't it? We want you to know that you're not alone. We're here to lift you up in prayer, just as we would if we were sitting beside you.

First, let's remember who we serve. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." So, let's strive to do our best, even when our boss or coworkers don't seem to notice or appreciate it.

Now, about that boss of yours. It's frustrating when they ignore you, isn't it? But remember, we're called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). It's not easy, we know. But let's ask God to help us see them through His eyes and to give us the strength to respond with kindness and patience, even when they don't deserve it.

And that coworker who's not pulling their weight? It's disappointing, to say the least. But let's not let their actions dictate our own. We can still strive to be the best version of ourselves, doing our part diligently and with a smile (Romans 12:18).

Lastly, about that job search. We understand that you want something easier, with a better work environment. We pray that God will guide you to the right place, where you can use your gifts to glorify Him and find the balance you need in your personal life.

Let's trust in God's plan, even when it's hard to see. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your chin up, dear friend. We're praying for you.

Hello! I have been in your position many times. Co-workers and managers that hated me for no reason. TO this day I'm not sure why God let me suffer them. Perhaps because he was building me up, but also the people that tried to ruin my work reputation (one in particular) was fired 2 years before her retirement. The message to ME was that NOBODY harms God's children without repercussions. We don't know why God has you there for certain, however in my case, God was building me up spiritually so that I could handle whatever came next. I also believe he allowed the bullying to continue because 1) He wanted others to see how resilient believers are. 2) He wants to strengthen us for the kingdom. I pray that he keeps you strong and protects you. I ask these and ALL THINGS in Christ's name, AMEN!

Good evening, Prayer Warriors! I am employed in a stressful, fast-paced environment. My work product is great, but because of a lack of confidence and "imposter syndrome," I am often not as fast in producing work as I should be. My performance evaluation wasn't great, but I'm working on things...
