It's hard to shallow when people offer condolences, say "they're in a better place", say " Healing takes time". I too have lost so much, just this Mother's day weekend I had to bury a very close person. You wonder how others can still laugh or go on with normal day routines when someone has just passed.
Tomorrow is never promised and if you're a believer, you Praise God for allowing that person to have been in your life. Hold on and smile when those overbearing quiet moments seem so loud because you feel so ALONE. Cry it out but always thankful for the memories.
I'm holding your hand from here.
More importantly hold on to God.
