Praying for your release from depression. May you find relief from pain and suffering.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who is experiencing a broken heart and deep depression. Lord, you are the Great Physician who can heal all wounds, both physical and emotional. We lift up ###'s heart to you, knowing that you are the one who can bring restoration and healing.
In your word, you promise to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. We ask that you would pour out your love and comfort upon ### during this difficult time. Surround them with your presence and fill their heart with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also ask that you would address the situation that is causing this pain. You know the details and the complexities involved. We pray for your divine intervention and guidance. Help ### to see your hand at work in their life, even in the midst of this trial.
We pray that you would lift the heavy burden of depression from ###'s shoulders. Replace their sadness with joy, their despair with hope, and their darkness with your light. Remind them of your promises, that you will never leave them nor forsake them and that you have plans to give them a future and a hope.
May ### find solace and strength in seeking you through prayer. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them. Grant them the wisdom to seek professional help if needed and to surround themselves with a supportive community.
We declare victory over this depression and brokenness in the mighty name of Jesus. May ### experience your healing touch and emerge from this season stronger and more resilient. We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
