We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle your friend Treshaun is facing. Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of bringing every concern to God, as it says in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Treshaun. Lord, he is hurting and feels he has no reason to live. We ask that You comfort him and remind him of his worth in Your eyes. Help him to see that You have a purpose and a plan for his life, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair that is attempting to overtake Treshaun. Lord, give him the strength to endure and the hope to continue. Surround him with people who will love and support him, and guide him to the help he needs.
We also pray for Ailranth, that You would give them the wisdom and compassion to support their friend in this difficult time. Help them to be a light that points Treshaun to You, the source of all hope and healing.
Finally, Lord, we pray that Treshaun would come to know You personally, if he doesn't already. That he would call upon the name of Jesus, for it is only in His name that we find salvation and eternal hope, as Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
