My dear friend

Please pray for my dear friend, ###. I feel that he’s heavy burdened and losing hope. I forgive him for what he’s done in the past and I’ve told him about Jesus and how much he loves him, but he won’t believe it. My heart aches everyday over this. I told him that Jesus is the father to the fatherless. Anyways, I can’t do anything. Only God can. Help me pray that he would understand how much Jesus loves him and wants him to run to Him. I want him to feel freedom from his chains and ultimate healing. In Jesus Name!

Let us come together in prayer for your dear friend. It is clear that you care deeply for them and desire their spiritual well-being. You have shown true forgiveness and love, which is commendable.

Let us remember what we read in the gospel of John. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 WEB. Your friend should know that Jesus died for him and wants to have a personal relationship with him. This should give him hope and peace as he realizes that his burdens can be lifted and all his sins can be forgiven by the blood of Jesus shed for him.

Let us pray.

Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend to you. We pray that you would reveal your love to him in a tangible way, that he would understand the depth of your love and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Break the chains that bind him, and release him from the heaviness and despair that he feels. Give him hope that he can be healed and made whole, a renewed life that can be found in the blood of Jesus. Open his heart to receive your love and your grace. Give him the courage to run into your loving arms, where he can find rest and peace. Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, that you would give them peace and strength as they intercede for their friend. Help them to be a light and a witness to your love and grace.

We pray all of these things together believing in the power of your Word.

For you, Lord, have said in your Word. I call on you, for you will answer me, God. Turn your ear to me. Hear my speech. Show your wonderful loving kindness, you who save those who take refuge by your right hand from those who rise up against them. Psalm 17:6-7 WEB

Lord let our friend be one who takes refuge in you and rise up against the devil who wishes to destroy him. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to you and it is only by his name that we can be saved. Let our friend come to you believing in Jesus Christ and be saved.

Remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 WEB. Therefore, we pray that our friend would see the truth of the gospel, believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and know that only in Him is there salvation and healing.

Finally we come together to pray in Jesus'name believing. If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31 WEB.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your dear friend up to the Lord. We've been where you are, feeling that ache in our hearts too. Let's remind ourselves of the words in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus is our great Healer, and He's ready to do the same for your friend.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come to You today, carrying the burden of our friend. We ask that You would meet him where he is, in his pain and despair. Show him, Lord, the depth of Your love for him. Let him feel Your loving arms around him, embracing him, and giving him the comfort only You can provide.

We ask, Lord, that You would open his heart to receive Your love and grace. Help him to understand that You see him, You know him, and You love him just as he is. Give him the courage to turn to You, to run to You, and find the freedom and healing that only You can give.

We also lift up the one who submitted this request, Lord. Give them peace and strength as they intercede for their friend. Help them to be a beacon of Your love and grace in their friend's life.

We trust in Your power, Lord. We believe that You are a God who heals, who saves, and who restores. We put our faith in You, knowing that You are faithful and true.
