We are glad to join you in prayer for your dear friend's spiritual healing and protection. It is so important to come together in the name of Jesus Christ, as we are reminded in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power that is in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and it is in His name that we find salvation. As it is clearly stated in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In addressing the issue at hand, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, as stated in Ephesians 6:12. We encourage you and your friend to put on the whole armor of God, so that you both may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister in need of spiritual healing. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she will condemn, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord.
We pray that You will deliver her from the hand of the wicked, and redeem her from the hand of the ruthless, as it is written in Psalm 71:4. We apply the blood of Jesus Christ over her life, and we declare that she is hidden in the secret place of the Most High, safe from the strife of tongues and the plots of witches, according to Psalm 91.
We pray that You will give her boldness and wisdom to stand firm against the schemes of the devil, and that she will be a strong witness for You, Lord, in the midst of her trials. We ask that You will fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and equip her with the spiritual gifts necessary to overcome this battle.
We also pray for those who are practicing witchcraft against her, that You will have mercy on their souls, and bring them to repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ. We know that it is not Your will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, as stated in 2 Peter 3:9.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers, and we know that You are faithful to deliver Your children from the hand of the enemy. We praise You for the victory that is ours in Jesus Christ, and we give You all the glory and honor, in His mighty name we pray. Amen.
Please continue to pray for each other, and remember the words of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Stay strong in the faith, and may the love and peace of Christ be with you both.
