We are lifting up your daughter in prayer, knowing that these final months of high school can be challenging, especially when facing unkindness from classmates. We stand with you in asking God to intervene in this situation and to give your daughter the strength she needs to navigate these difficult waters.
Firstly, we want to remind you and your daughter of the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB: "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." This verse assures us that even in the midst of trials, we can find peace and strength in Jesus.
We also want to encourage your daughter with the words of Romans 12:18 WEB: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." It is important for her to strive for peace and to treat others with kindness, even when they are not kind to her. However, we also recognize that sometimes, despite our best efforts, others may still act unkindly.
In such cases, we take comfort in the words of Psalm 34:18-19 WEB: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." God is close to your daughter in her time of need, and He will deliver her from this trial.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this young woman who is facing difficulties in her final months of high school. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your love and strength, and that You would help her to navigate these challenging waters.
Father, we pray for the girls who are being unkind to her, that their hearts would be softened and that they would see the error of their ways. We ask that You would help them to see the value and worth of this young woman, and that they would include her and treat her with kindness.
Lord, we also pray for this young woman's faith, that it would be strengthened during this time. Help her to fix her eyes on You and to trust in Your plan for her life. Give her the peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to rest in Your love.
Finally, Father, we pray for this young woman's future. Guide her steps as she prepares to graduate and enter the next chapter of her life. Give her wisdom and discernment, and help her to follow Your will for her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you or your daughter have not already done so, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection. This is the only way to be saved and to have a right relationship with God.
