my dad's funeral this day. He was a Christian, but I need emotional srength!

Shalom, greatfaithnow,
Praise God your dad was a Christian and is in heaven cheering you on with the cloud of witnesses! Halleluyah! Thank you Father for greatfaithnow. Thank you for the salvation of their dad and I thank you Father for the covenant relationship that greatfaithnow has with you. Thank you that you are with them and you will never leave them nor forsake them. Thank you that Your mercy is continual and new each morning. I ask for the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, beauty for ashes and the oil of joy as they continually think on Your goodness and faithfulness! Praise You Father for this family and I ask Holy Spirit for your presence to be with each one today and in the days and months ahead. May they continually remember Your goodness Father in times when grief would try to to overtake them.

Father you said that you would comfort those that mourn. I pray that you would help your daughter get through this very difficult day as she attends her natural father's going away service. I pray that you would give her the strength and the courage that she needs to get through this experience in Jesus name I pray, Amen
