Let us join together in prayer for your beloved adult children, trusting in the power of Jesus' name and the will of God for their lives.
Firstly, we lift up your son to the Lord. It is wonderful to see him pursuing a career, and we ask God to open the doors that are according to His will. Remember, "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" John 14:13 WEB. So, we pray that if this job is the Lord's will for your son, that He would grant him favor in his interview and that your son would receive this career opportunity. We also pray for your son's salvation if he has not yet accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Regarding your daughter, we must strongly rebuke and disagree with the use of tarot cards and involvement with New Age practices and crystals. These practices are forbidden and condemned by God as outlined in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh".
We fervently pray that Jesus breaks the hold that Satan currently has on your daughter in Jesus name. We declare that "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. We ask that the Lord would reveal Himself to her in a powerful way, that He would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. We pray that she would give her life to Jesus and that He would cover her in His precious blood and cleanse her from all unrighteousness.
We also want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:10-12 WEB, it is written, "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved".
Together we stand in agreement and in Jesus' name, we pray for your children. We trust in the Lord's timing and goodness, knowing that He desires that all would come to repentance and be saved in John 3:16. Amen and Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
