We rejoice with you in your gratitude to God for the successful claim for personal independence payment. It is wonderful to see God's provision in your life. The Bible tells us, Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice, Philippians 4:4 WEB.
Regarding the struggle to forgive those who harmed you in your childhood, especially your mother, we want to encourage and pray for you. Forgiveness is a challenging journey, but it is a crucial part of our healing and spiritual growth. The Bible tells us, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses, Matthew 6:14-15 WEB.
Forgiveness does not mean what happened is acceptable, nor does it mean you must trust or reconcile with the person who harmed you. Forgiveness is a decision to release the bitterness and resentment, trusting God with the justice and restoration. ###, remember what the word of God says, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister who is struggling to forgive. We thank You for her successful claim for personal independence payment, and we ask that You continue to provide for her needs.
Lord, we ask for Your healing and comfort in her heart. Help her to release the pain and bitterness from her childhood hurts. Give her the strength to forgive her mother and others who have harmed her, just as You have forgiven us through Jesus Christ.
Father, guide her through this journey of forgiveness. Help her to trust in You and Your justice. Give her peace and restoration through Your love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to continue to seek God's strength and guidance. The Bible is clear that we are to forgive others, and the sooner we do this the sooner we may be freed from the hurt. Remember that the Bible says, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ, Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB. You are asking God for His forgiveness for not forgiving her sooner, but God is waiting for you to forgive them before He will forgive you. You must forgive them and ask God to forgive you.
