We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's illness and we are here to pray and support you both during this challenging time. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray for your husband's healing.
We must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'" We pray for God's will to be done in your husband's life, trusting that His plan is perfect.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ who is ill. We pray for Your healing touch upon him, that You would miraculously heal his stomach problems and restore his health. We pray that he would be able to function normally again, and that he would be restored to his old self. We pray that he would ask for food and drink, and that he would be totally healed from all his ailments.
We also pray for his wife, that You would give her the strength and comfort she needs during this time. We pray that You would surround them both with Your love and peace, and that You would guide them through this trial.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of James 5:15 WEB, "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Trust in the power of prayer, and know that God is with you both during this time.
Lastly, remember that God can use all things for the good of those who love Him, as it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in His goodness, and know that He is with you both during this time.
