We are glad to hear that you are taking the step to talk to your mom about your problems and seeking help. It is important to remember that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
First, we need to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else. "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our dear friend who is seeking help and guidance. We pray that you would grant them the courage and wisdom to speak openly with their mom about their struggles. Lord, we ask that you would guide their conversation, that it would be fruitful and that it would lead to the help and support they need.
We also pray that you would comfort their heart and calm their nerves. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and fill them with your perfect peace. Help them to trust in you, knowing that you are always with them, guiding them, and loving them unconditionally.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Remember, God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB
We encourage you to trust in Him, and to know that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. It is our prayer that this conversation with your mom will be a step towards healing, restoration, and a deeper relationship with God.
