We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with your mental health, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. We are here to pray and support you through this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares deeply about your situation. He is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Also we are admonished in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
While it's understandable that you may not see God's hand working in your life right now, remember that He works in ways we often cannot see or understand. He promises that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB).
It's crucial to seek professional help, and we're glad to hear that you have an appointment with the mental health team. Proverbs 11:14 WEB tells us "Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers.". God often uses professionals to bring healing and guidance.
Regarding your anxiety and psychosis, we believe in the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that God will grant you this supernatural calm as you trust in Him.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Shrosormen to you, asking for your healing touch on their mental health. Please guide the mental health team to provide the best care and medication for them. Give Shrosormen reassurance and the ability to trust in your unfailing love and presence, even when they cannot see or feel it. Grant them a spirit of calm and peace and the assurance of your presence in their life. We pray that you will make yourself known to them. Draw them while you are drawing them.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
It is important to know that it is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. In John 14:6 we read: "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And again in John 10:9 we read: "I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture."
If you have not yet had a chance to work with counselors and psychologists who are also Christians, we encourage you to seek out or ask for them. Also, you can ask for a local pastor or minister to discuss your situation and get an appointment for pastoral counseling and prayer.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8.
Know that you are not alone. We commit to continue praying for you as you navigate this journey.
