I respect your take but the verses I gave you was from Jesus. It's very clear!"Behold I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep but we shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye.The dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are ALIVE and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in t h e air.And so shall we ever be with the Lord."

All I was saying it's better to live now with Jesus as your refuge during tough times.

I respect your views. You're set in yours and I'm set in mine. Each individual is responsible for is own journey. Maybe one day I might blog my views on the endtimes, If I'm lead to but it's not crucial to salvation. My first choice is that the tough times didn't happen at all2}Finally got a chance to read it, but I think that's describing the judgement, which takes place after the millenium, which is a seperate event on a different timelime.!
But again, I didn't mean persecution. Meant life in general can be not always so easy to bear, with things going the exact opposite of our preferences all too often. Those kind of things . are just the result of living in the fallen world, which we won't have to deal with in the New World, and so my hope...contrary to many Christians , I don't think every trouble makes us blessed. Homelessness is not a "good" experience, but instead of God making them homeless as a spiritual lesson,it could just be their fault because they blew it on drugs ,alchohol, and continue to do so.They didn't become broke as a "blessing from God."It was as a result of their own bad choices. So that's one thing I disagree with most Christians on, that every negative thing that happens has a spiritual meaning.Someone backing into you in a parking lot is not a spiritual lesson from God.It is those types of experiences I look to avoid in the new World. "Looking for and hastening unto the day.."2} When it comes to verses, not unusual that 3 or 4 Christians can have different interpretations.I respect your views. In the meantime, I fall back on the theme of keeping our lamps lit until we go to heaven. It does not matter what endtimes beliefs one owns. If that proverbial lamp dies out, then the person is not going to heaven.
So many great Christians were persecuted and executed for Christianity. They faced harsh tribulations. So it's possible we will. If I have to go through it because pretrib does not exist, so be it. God keep me strong. I won't be the first Christian going through tribulation.
I won't hold ill feelings or be disappointed in my Lord.
My message to everyone is not really about the endtimes. It has to do with everyone working hard for God right to your final breath.
Whatever God wants!
I live now for Christ!
It is true that happenstance occurs and it may not have anything to do with God. After all an accident for the most part is accidental. We Christians may experience non beneficial feelings during those events but we should try to recover quickly from those feelings. A Christian reaction should be Godly. But again, I didn't mean persecution. We are indeed meant to face trials and tribulations. Verses affirming this is plastered throughout the new testament. When Jesus said don't worry about tomorrow, He was talking about life in general, survival, and everyday living. It wasn't just about spiritual matters.
My point is the sooner you turn it over for Jesus the better.
Well.. my point , we make mistakes!Oops Steven that was me Colin
