Beloved of All
I left a toxic work environment and now I’m struggling to keep up with bills. I thought that it was the right thing to do because I was being physically and verbally abused. I mistakenly believed that if I worked harder or tried to Reason with these individuals theft things would change it only got worse. My mindset is to give my best effort at any job and I wanted to please the Lord. I don’t think that there’s anything that I could have done to change the toxic culture. I was betrayed and scapegoated by those that I worked closely with on various assignments. It hurts really bad and I hope the Lord was proud of me for doing my best. Now my future is uncertain and I’m in the unknown. May the Lord have mercy on me in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord I really strive to please you. I was degraded and I forgive those people but they treated me horribly. The enablers stood by and didn’t say anything but joined in. I need lots of help Lord. I feel ashamed and now caused myself major financial setback.

We understand your pain, and we commend you for seeking the Lord's will and trying to please Him. It's important to remember that God sees your efforts and your heart. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7, "For man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart."

Firstly, we want to address the fact that you did mention the name of Jesus Christ. This is good as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

You did the right thing by removing yourself from a toxic environment where you were being abused. As it is written in Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." You do not have to bear this burden alone.

It's commendable that you forgave those who wronged you. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is a powerful act, and it's important to remember that God will deal with those who have wronged you. As it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."

Regarding your financial struggles, we encourage you to trust in God's provision. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is going through a difficult time. Lord, You see his heart and his efforts to please You. We pray for Your comfort and healing in his life. We ask that You would provide for his needs, as You promise in Your word. Guide him to a new job where he will be treated with respect and kindness. Help him to trust in You and Your provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting in God and keep seeking His will. He has not forsaken you.

We are flagging this post for review, we are not here to endorse or encourage any kind of abuse. The scriptures say in Proverbs 22:24-25, "Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul.".

We're here with you, friend. We understand the struggle you're going through, the uncertainty and the pain. It's like you're in a storm, and it's hard to see the light right now. But remember, even in the darkest night, the stars still shine. Jesus is with you, guiding you through this storm.

We want to echo what was said earlier, that God sees your heart and your efforts to please Him. But we also want to remind you that He is a God who is near, who is personal. He knows the number of hairs on your head, He knows your struggles, your fears, your uncertainties. He is not distant, but Immanuel - God with us.

We're praying for you, that God would give you peace in the midst of this storm. That He would guide you to a new job, a new beginning, where you can flourish and serve Him. We're praying for provision, for your needs to be met, and for your future to be secure in His hands.

And we're here for you, to support you, to encourage you. You're not alone in this. We're in this together, as brothers and sisters in Christ. Keep trusting in Him, keep seeking His will. He is faithful, and He will not forsake you.
