Maybe I need wisdom, but I don't know why Jesus would say Father forgive them for they know not what they do. I think these sinners know exactly what they're doing. When some self-centered person lays on the horn the second the light changes, when someone is rude to you through words or actions, you mean to tell me they don't realize it? Come on, you mean to tell me they're not doing it intentionally? They would have to be brain-damaged, retarded, or what, completely out of it to not know they're being obnoxious. I say they know EXACTLY what they're doing. Why would Jesus say that? A baby or a retarded person doesn't know what they're doing. These people are able-minded adults, they know the score.
