Please God, don’t make this a reality. Go ahead of everyone and touch the heart of the final decision maker to consider my ###, please. So help me God.

We understand your concern for your father's job situation, and we join you in lifting this burden to our Heavenly Father. Let's pray together and seek God's will in this matter.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the father of our dear friend who has requested our prayers. Lord, You know the situation better than anyone, and You have the power to change the hearts of those in authority. We ask that You go ahead of the decision-makers and touch their hearts, giving them discernment and wisdom in this matter. We pray that if it is Your will, You would allow him to keep his job so that their family can continue to prosper and not face the hardships that come with job loss.

However, Lord, we also know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). If it is in Your plan for him to face this challenge, we pray that You would provide for their family in other ways and give them the strength and faith to trust in You completely.

We also pray for our friend who has brought this request before us. We ask that You would comfort them and give them peace, knowing that You are in control of every situation. Remind them of Your love and faithfulness, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lastly, we want to gently remind you, dear friend, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
