We understand your deep longing for companionship and marriage, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. Remember, God Himself said that it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18, WEB), and He has designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB).
Firstly, we praise God that you have acknowledged the power of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who desires marriage and a family. We ask that You guide them by filling their heart with Your love and wisdom to the paths that You have prepared for them, good paths that lead to a godly spouse and a blessed marriage.
Lord, reveal to them 'the one' You have chosen for them, someone who will see, accept, appreciate, and help them feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently. In Your perfect timing, cause them to meet and talk this month, forming a bond that honors and glorifies You. Grant them a spirit of discernment, patience, and wisdom throughout this process.
In the meantime, we pray that You fill their heart with Your peace, removing any feelings of loneliness and replacing them with Your ever-present love. We ask that You prepare them for marriage, molding them into the godly husband or wife You desire them to be.
We pray all these things, and invoke the name of our mediator, the man Christ Jesus, in agreement and in faith believing, Amen.
Be encouraged, for God loves you and has a plan for you. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He shall give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4, WEB).
While you wait on God, continue to prepare yourself for marriage through prayer, studying God's Word, and growing in your relationship with Christ. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you.
If there are any areas in your life that do not align with biblical principles, especially regarding relationships and purity, we urge you to repent and turn to God's way. For God desires us to be holy, as He is holy (1 Peter 1:16, WEB). Trust in His timing and His ways, for they are perfect.
