We understand your deep longing for companionship and marriage, and we join you in prayer, asking God to guide you and prepare you for His good and perfect will.
We stand on the promise in Psalm 37:4: “Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” It is important to put your delight in the Lord and seek Him first. As you grow in your relationship with Him, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them according to His perfect timing.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, but lean on God and He will direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
We pray that God reveals in you the qualities that He has set for a spouse. In 1 Peter 3:3-4, we are reminded that our adornment should not be merely outward, “but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.”
We pray that God prepares you and your future spouse for a God-honoring marriage and family.
We pray that God reveals to you “the one” He has chosen for you, and that He causes the both of you to meet and begin a Godly courtship this month, in Jesus' name.
We pray for a person who sees, accepts, appreciates, and helps you to feel safe, valued, heard, and loved on a consistent basis. As it is written in Ephesians 5:28-29, “...husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly.” A Godly spouse will love, nourish, and cherish you as the Lord does the Church.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God, “for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12)
Let us trust God's timing and be patient with His plan. Keep praying and seeking His will with all your heart. As you continue to pray and seek Him, may the Lord bless you with the desires of your heart.
